Malabrigo Mohair is a lace-weight mohair and silk yarn. It can be used as a single strand, held double for a more intense color, or paired with another yarn to add warmth and a fluffy effect. The mohair is produced in South Africa, according to ethical and biodiversity-friendly standards.
- Composition: 72% mohair, 28% silk
- 25 gram skein / 210 meters
- Recommended needles: 3.25 – 5 mm
- Recommended crochet hook: 2 – 3.5 mm
- Recommended gauge for 10 cm: 30 – 32 stitches
- Care: hand wash in cold water, dry flat
- Made in Peru
Note: Malabrigo yarns are dyed by a team of artisans. Although the dyeing formula for a colorway is identical for each dye lot, skeins can vary greatly from one another, even within the same lot. This is why the skeins do not have a dye lot number. Due to this characteristic, the brand recommends ensuring you have enough yarn for each project and alternating skeins every row to ensure harmonious color distribution.
