Alentejo Kit - Filipa Carneiro

Inspired by the traditional weaving of Portuguese blankets, Alentejana by Filipa Carneiro is a top-down jacquard sweater. The two qualities from Rosários 4, Romaria and Piopardo create a contrast that perfectly reproduces the geometric patterns of these blankets. These sport-weight yarns are perfectly suited for mid-season, and the sleeve length can be shortened, as in Ana's version. The kit contains:

• the amount of Romaria balls and Piopardo skeins needed to make a long-sleeved version, in the size and color combination of your choice. Ana wears color combination B
• the digital pattern in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
Bust circumference (finished garment): 91 (102, 111, 122, 131, 141) cm
Ease: it is recommended to choose a size with approximately 14 cm of positive ease relative to your bust circumference

Gauge: 24 stitches x 36 rows for 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch knitted flat, blocked

Recommended needles:
3.00 mm (stockinette), 3.25 mm (jacquard), 2.50 mm (ribbing), with an 80 cm cable for the body and sleeves using magic loop and 40 cm for the collar; or the needle size needed to obtain the gauge above.

Quantities:

• 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) balls of Romaria for the main color (MC)
• 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of Piopardo for the contrasting color (CC)
