Bao bao Shawl Kit (Løvfald) - Isabell Kraemer

The BAO BAO shawl by Isabell Kraemer is a symmetrical triangular shawl, which gets its name from the Thai expression "BAO BAO" (เบา เบา) which means something soft, light, and delicate.
It is worked back and forth, from the top down, using the slip stitch pattern used by Isabell in her HEIMATHAFEN sweater.

For this kit, we suggest knitting a version in the Løvfald quality by CaMaRose, which will be wonderful for making this pattern with a sublime drape.

The kit consists of:

• the pattern in PDF format in French, English, Spanish, Danish, German, and Italian
• the number of balls of the Løvfald quality by CaMaRose in this color combo:
  • Combo 1: CC1 - 1456 Brændt Rød, CC2 - 1402 Natur, CC3 - 1448 Jægergrøn

Finished shawl measurements: 178 cm from tip to tip, 71 cm deep

Gauge: 20 stitches x 36 rows for 10 x 10 cm in the slip stitch pattern after blocking

Suggested needles: 3.5 mm circular needles (with a 100 cm cable)

Yarn quantity: CC1: 2 balls, CC2: 2 balls, CC3: 1 ball
