Pelica is a small, sleeveless vest created by Rosa Pomar, founder of the brand Retrosaria and a knitting pattern designer. This unisex vest is knitted seamlessly in garter stitch and is available in two lengths. Its timeless shape adapts to many styles, worn either fitted or oversized.
The kit contains:
- the necessary amount of yarn balls of Brusca (Retrosaria) for the size and color of your choice.
- the digital pattern in French, English, Portuguese, Danish
Sizes: 1 (2 / 3 / 4) (5 / 6 / 7 / 8)
Bust circumference (finished garment): 91.3 (93.6 / 100.2 / 112.4) (120.2 / 131.3 / 141.3 / 151.3) cm
Shoulder to shoulder width: 35.6 (36.7 / 38.9 / 40) (42.2 / 43.3 / 44.4 / 46.7) cm
Length nape - bottom edge (short version): 44.2 (45.3 / 45.8 / 48.9) (49.5 / 51.6 / 52.6 / 54.7) cm
Length nape - bottom edge (long version): 52.1 (53.2 / 53.7 / 57.4) (57.9 / 60.5 / 61.6 / 64.2) cm
It is recommended to choose a size with 5 to 10 cm of positive ease compared to your bust circumference and/or 2 cm of positive ease at the shoulders.
Gauge: 18 stitches x 38 rows for 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch
Recommended needles: 4.5 mm circular needles, 80 or 100 cm long, or the needle size needed to obtain the above gauge
Yarn quantities:
Short version: 4 (4, 5, 6) (6, 7, 7, 8) balls of Brusca (Retrosaria)
For the long version, we recommend taking one size up to have the necessary quantity of yarn balls.
Buttons (not included): 4 (short version) or 5 buttons (long version) of 15 to 20 mm
