Kit The Sheep Sweater - Rosa Pomar in Bouclelaine Ouessant

Here we offer a "French" version of Rosa Pomar's Sheep sweater, made with Ouessant yarn from Bouclelaine. Composed of a blend of wool from Ouessant island sheep and Finistère sheep, with a little Arles merino added for the white color, this fingering weight yarn is perfect for jacquard. We continue the principle of highlighting the beautiful natural colors of the sheep by using natural Anthracite as the main color and natural White as the contrasting color.
The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up, starting with a ribbed border before moving on to the jacquard work. The armhole and neck openings are created with a steek, after which stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. The kit contains:

• the necessary quantity of Ouessant (Bouclelaine) skeins in your chosen size, in the natural colors Anthracite natural for the main color and White natural for the contrasting color. The kit is calculated for the average length, which is 58.7 cm from the neckline to the bottom of the back.
• the pattern – optional – in PDF format in English

Sizes: 1 (2, 3 ,4) (5, 6, 7, 8)
Bust circumference (finished garment): 96.5 (107.4, 121.4, 127) (132.6, 142.5, 149.5, 156.5) cm
Ease: it is recommended to choose a size with approximately 12 to 27.5 cm of positive ease relative to your bust measurement. Note that smaller sizes were created with more ease and size 3 has more ease than other sizes.

Gauge: 28.5 stitches x 33 rows for 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, blocked.

Recommended needles: 3 mm and 2.25 cm circular needles (body); or the needle size needed to achieve the above gauge.

Quantities:
Main color 3 (3, 3, 3) (4, 4, 4, 4) balls and contrasting color 2 (2, 2, 2) (3, 3, 3, 3) skeins of Ouessant (Bouclelaine).
Quantities are calculated for the average length proposed by Rosa Pomar; you will therefore have the necessary quantities to make the short or medium lengths if you wish.
