Kit The Sheep Sweater by Pegulhal - Rosa Pomar

Pegulhal wool is back at Lanae tricot with the kit for The Sheep sweater by Rosa Pomar. This fingering weight yarn, ideal for colorwork, is made from a blend of wools from two endemic Portuguese sheep breeds: Campaniça and Merino Preto. We offer a kit highlighting the beautiful natural colors of these sheep, with shades 20 Natural Brown (obtained from black Campaniça sheep) for the main color and 01 Natural White for the contrasting color.
The sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up, starting with a ribbed border before moving on to the colorwork. The armhole and neckline openings are created using a steek, after which stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. The kit contains:

• the necessary quantity of Pegulhal balls (Retrosaria) in your chosen size, in Pegulhal's natural colors: 20 Natural Brown for the main color and 01 Natural White for the contrasting color. The kit is calculated for the average length, which is 58.7 cm from the neckline to the bottom of the back.
• the pattern – optional – in PDF version in English

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7, 8)
Bust circumference (finished garment): 96.5 (107.4, 121.4, 127) (132.6, 142.5, 149.5, 156.5) cm
Ease: It is recommended to choose a size with approximately 12 to 27.5 cm of positive ease relative to your chest circumference. Note that smaller sizes have been created with more ease, and size 3 has more ease than other sizes.

Gauge: 28.5 stitches x 33 rows for 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, blocked.

Recommended needles: 3 mm and 2.25 mm circular needles (body); or the needle size needed to achieve the above gauge.

Quantities:
Main color 6 (6, 7, 7) (7, 8, 8, 8) balls and contrasting color 3 (4, 4, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) balls of Pegulhal (Retrosaria).
The quantities are calculated for the average length proposed by Rosa Pomar; therefore, you have the necessary quantities to make the short or medium lengths if you wish.
