To write Knitted Kalevala, Jenna Kostet drew inspiration from the tradition of Finnish and Baltic epic poems, the Kalevala. Each pattern successfully highlights symbols and mythological creatures. All patterns are knitted in the round, and the fair isle patterns combine no more than two colors on the same row, making them accessible to a wider audience.
