Matiz is the first aran weight yarn from Retrosaria. It is a two-ply combed yarn with a light twist, made from a blend of Campaniça and Merino Preto wools, two species native to the Alentejo region of Portugal. Matiz is truly soft for a rustic wool, and will be perfect for making cozy cardigans and sweaters to face the cold season. It will also be a very good choice for ribbed or brioche work. Colors A (natural white), C (blend of natural white and natural brown), D (natural brown) are undyed colors, obtained from the sheep's fleeces.

Recommended gauge: 14-16 stitches x 22-24 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needles: 5-6 mm
Care: hand wash, lay flat to dry, iron at low temperature if desired
