Mondim, the iconic yarn from the Retrosaria brand, is a non-superwash fingering yarn made from 100% Campaniça sheep wool raised in Lower Alentejo. Note: Mondim colors are evolving! Those whose name begins with the letter A correspond to the old solid colors dyed on an ecru base whose number started with 100. The old heathered colors that were numbered in 300 are grouped in the C range. As for the colors that begin with the letter B, these are an intermediate category, dyed on a less dark heathered base than those of the C range.
